French national arrested for allegedly molesting children

Kathmandu - A French national was arrested on the charge of child molestation. A Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) team of the Nepal Police on Monday apprehended French national Christian Serge Henry Naugaret, 60, for allegedly sexually abusing 12-year, eight-year and seven-year-old children in Pokhara.

The police team made public the pedophile today. CIB spokesperson and Superintendent of Police (SP) Bel Bahadur Pandey shared that the police team caught the French national red-handed while he was molesting the children on the bank of Fursekhola rivulet in Pokhara metropolis-17, Bairauta Power House.

The police also rescued all three children reeling under sexual assault. The rescued children were handed over to their respective parents. According to the CIB, the convict has been handed to the District Police Office Kaski to carry out further investigations and proceed with the punitive action. Spokesperson Pandey further said that the arrested French national had entered Nepal on a non-tourist visa and has been residing in Pokhara.
