Adolescent dies in leopard attack

Kathmandu - An adolescent has died in a leopard attack in Dadeldhura. Maya Mahato, aged around 18, of Shivanath rural municipality-4, Bagar of Baitadi district lost her life in wild cat attack, police said.

According to the District Police Office Dadeldhura, the adolescent died when the leopard attacked her on Monday while she was cutting grass at Bhageswor rural municipality-1, Marmagad of Dadeldhura.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Dadeldhura Mahendra Nepal shared that a police team was heading to the incident site to investigate into the incident. Earlier on Sunday, a 12-year-old was killed by a leopard at Bhageswor in Dadeldhura.
