COVID-19 infected woman dies in Pokhara

Kathmandu - A COVID-19 infected woman died in Pokhara today. The 52-year-old woman of Bhirkot municipality-2 in Syangja district died at the COVID-19 treatment centre at Western Regional Hospital under the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS), said PAHS director Dr Arjun Acharya.

The woman, who was admitted to the centre on October 12, was treated at ICU. So far, the hospital recorded 13 deaths from the infection, he said. The caseload in Gandaki State has hit 5,127
