Education Minister tested positive for coronavirus

Kathmandu - Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel on Sunday confirmed that he tested positive for coronavirus infection. Minister Pokharel is the second federal Minister to be infected from the virus.

Earlier on Saturday, Tourism Minister Yogesh Bhattarai got infected with the virus. According to Minister Pokharel’s personal assistant Puran KC, the Minister tested positive for virus infection. Minister Pokharel has also urged all those who had come in close contact with him to remain alert.
