Nachanthali area sealed off

Kathmandu - Nachanthali area of Silgadhi has been sealed off due to COVID-19 outbreak in the locality. According to Silgadhi Municipality Mayor Manju Malasai, the area is sealed off in an attempt to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. With this, people's movement is banned.

He added that an official of agriculture office in the area was found infected with the virus. Meanwhile, Office of Purbichauki Rural Municipality in the district has been padlocked by the Nepal Students Union, alleging the Office of arbitrarily closing services. The NSU further blamed the rural municipality and officials that they had gone for picnic on Friday by closing the office.
