Absconding alleged rapist held in Bhadrapur

Kathmandu - A youth who is charged of raping a 17-year-ol teen girl in a bus in Bhaktapur on October 3 has been arrested from Bhadrapur, Jhapa. Organizing a news conference, the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, confirmed that 22-year-old Dipesh Rai from Jhapa district was brought here on Friday.

Police also made those three alleged public to the media as well. The three are alleged of repeatedly raping the girl whole night by making her unconscious. Superintendent of Police Tara Devi Thapa said the processes for investigation and action were initiated against the culprits. Prior to this, Nir Kumar Khadka and Surya Shrestha from Sindhupalchowk district were arrested on charge of the gang rape.
