1,551 new cases of COVID-19 registered on Tuesday

Kathmandu - A total of 1,551 were found infected with COVID-19 while conducting PCR test on 11,047 individuals in the country on Tuesday. Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Jageshwar Gautam in a regular press briefing today shared that with the new cases, the total number of cases has reached 90,814 in the country. He added that total active cases are 22,709 till today.

Dr Gautam further shared that 2,340 have returned home after complete health recovery in the past 24 hours. With this, total number of recovery reaches 67,542 so far. According to Ministry, deaths caused by the virus infection in past 24 hours in the country reached nine, taking the national tally of death toll caused by the virus infection to 563 till today in the country.
