Death toll in Lidi landslide reaches 25, fourteen still missing

Kathmandu - The death toll in the landslide that hit Lidi of Jugal rural municipality-2, Sindhupalchowk district last Friday has reached 25 with the recovery of the body of four-year-old Samaraj Dong today, the Area Police Office Jalbire said.

A joint team of Nepali Army, Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force is searching for 14 more persons missing in the landslide, said Inspector at the Office, Hari Bhattarai. The landslide swept away as many as 37 houses and left 39 people missing on last Friday morning.
