Dr Rupchandra from Bajura conferred on 'Prakash Human Rights Prize'

Kathmandu - Dr Rupchandra Bishwakarma from Bajura district has been conferred on the '26th Prakash Human Rights Prize-2020'. Dr Bishwakarma is associated with the Bajura District Hospital. However, Dr Bishwakarma could not attend the 28th Prakash Memorial Day and 26th Prakash Human Rights Prize Announcement Ceremony organised by the Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC).

The prize carries a purse of Rs 50,000. The prize was established in memory of the founding general secretary of INSEC Prakash Kafle. On the occasion, different speakers extended congratulations to Dr Bishwakarma and expressed pleasure for his selection at the programme organized on Friday.

During the programme, Chairperson of INSEC Dr Indira Shrestha said the awarded person could not attend the ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.
