Performance contract to enforce policy and programme

Kathmandu - The Bagmati provincial government has signed a performance contract agreement with the members of its cabinet. The agreement has been signed for effective enforcement of the government's policy and programme, Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has said.

Speaking after signing a performance contract agreement with Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Arun Nepal at his office on Friday, Poudel expressed the confidence that the work of the government would become efficient this fiscal in compared to the previous years.

He also claimed that Bagmati had begun a new practice among the provinces. Commitments from both the sides have been made to fully enforce the policy and programmes outlined by the provincial government for the new fiscal year.
