WWJ, NJRD donates medical appliances to women journalists

Kathmandu - Working Women Journalists (WWJ) and the Network of Journalists Reporting on Disaster (NJRD) has jointly donated medical appliances including sanitizers, facemasks and gloves to 50 working women journalists.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Bournemouth University helped in this initiative of the WWJ and NJRD. Deputy Mayor of the Metropolis Hari Prabha Khadgi handed the health materials to the recipients amid a function here.

On the occasion, Deputy Mayor stressed the need for the people to adopt caution and stay safe from COVID-19 pandemic. WWJ President Amika Rajthala said this initiative meant to help female journalists work in a safe way during the pandemic.
