NCP standing committee meeting rescheduled for July 19

Kathmandu - standing committee meeting of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) scheduled for today has been rescheduled for July 19. The meeting has been postponed time and again as top party leaders were holding discussions to resolve party disputes, it has been said.

The meeting that was scheduled for today at 11 am and rescheduled for today at 3 pm has been ultimately rescheduled for July 19 at 3 pm, said Surya Thapa, deputy chief of the NCP publicity and publication department.

The standing committee meeting agenda is coordination between party and the government, power sharing, working out remaining tasks for party unification and MCC agreement endorsement. The standing committee meeting started from June 24.
