Two killed in separate incidents

Kathmandu- Two persons were killed in separate incidents in Tanahun district on Wednesday, the District Police Office said. Motimaya Panta, 74, of Barai in Anbukhairani Rural Municipality-1 was electrocuted in her poultry farm near her house on Wednesday evening.

Seriously hurt in the incident, the elderly died on her way to Muglin Highway Hospital for treatment. Likewise, 22-year-old Til Kumari Gurung of Bhanu Municipality-2 drowned in Chundikhola (river) while swimming. Police Inspector Jitendra Shrestha said that the lady who was critical in her health condition died on her way to Laxmi Hospital, Dumre.
