Two killed in road mishap in Jhapa

Baniyani (Jhapa) - Two persons were killed in a road accident along the Budhabare-Charali road section in Jhapa district on Tuesday. 

Identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. The accident took place when a bus (Ko 1 Kha 2988) heading towards Jhapa from Ilam hit a motorcycle (Me 3 Pa 5473) coming from the opposite direction. The deceased are motorcyclist and pillion rider, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa. 

Similarly, a pedestrian, Santamaya Tamang, 60, of Buddhashanti Rural Municipality, was critically injured when the same bus hit her. She is undergoing treatment at Birtamod-based B&C Hospital.
