Two more individuals test positive for COVID-19

Kathmandu - Two more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the country, according to the Spokesperson of Ministry of Health and Population Dr Bikash Devkota. At a news conference in the ministry today, Dr Devkota said that the new cases were reported one each in Kailali and Rautahat.

Both of them had returned home from India. With the recent cases, the total number of coronavirus infected has reached 14 in Nepal. Spokesperson Dr Devkota said that the boy confirmed with COVID-19 in Rautahat district is 19-year-old while the woman from Lamki in Kailai is 65 years. The woman is under quarantine in Lamki Multiple Campus, Kailali. So far, Kailali has the highest number of COVID-19 patients with six while Parsa has three. Baglung and Kathmandu have equal two and one in Rautahat.
