Rs 2.5 million collected to purchase health equipment

Kathmandu - The Ministry of Social Development Ministry and local levels in Makawanpur district with initiative of the District Coordination Council have collected Rs 2.5 million in cash meant for treatment of COVID-19 patients in the district. According to Chief of the Council, Raghunath Khulal, the amount would be spent to purchase necessary equipment to carry out treatment of coronavirus infected persons. Similarly, they have already requested the Bagmati State Government to provide security personnel needed at quarantines where suspected COVID-19 patients would be kept. Also, the demand includes management of necessary health equipment to health workers, Khulal added.
