Four held for black-marketing mask, hand sanitiser

Kathmandu - As the global pandemic of coronavirous is accelerating further, mask and sanitizer are in short supply in the country. Suppliers have been alleged of promoting an artificial shortage to sell the materials on black-market, making the situation worse. In this connection, a joint monitoring team from the District Administration Office and District Police Office, Dhanusha, has arrested four pharmacists today on the charge of supplying face masks and hand sanitizer on black-market.

They area Sanjay Saha of Susmita Medical Hall, Anil Yadav and Prabhans Chaudhary of Atal Pharmacy and Sanjaya Saha of Sampurna Medical. They were caught-red handed by the DP Dhanusha said. Yadav and Chaudhary are alleged of black-marketing the hand sanitisers and remaining two for face masks. They are under investigation.
