Community schools in Siraha closed due to excess cold

 Kathmandu–With the upsurge in coldness, many schools in Siraha district remain closed. Lahan municipality, Mirchaiya municipality, Badiyarpatti rural municipality (Gaupalika) and Naraha rural municipality (Gaupalika) has declared holiday till Poush 11.

The local authorities have published the public notice that they have declared leave from winter holidays from Poush 7 to 11.

Due to the cold wave in the morning along with fog, the life of the Terai has been affected. Despite of the public notice issued by the local authorities, private schools are still running their classes.
