Free health camp by Nepali army

Rajbiraj–More than 600 people benefited from a day-long health camp organized by the Nepali Army in ward no. 3 of Tilathi Koiladi rural municipality. The NA Bhimdal battalion in Rajbiraj hosted the camp with the support of the Unique College of Medicine Sciences and Hospital Private Limited.

The visitors were also provided medicines free of cost while those found with serious ailments were recommended to the hospital. They will also be provided treatment free of cost, said the hospital chief Jaya Prakash Thakur.

A 25-member of medical professionals including Dr Sanjaya Singh, Dr Rabindra Chaudhary, Dr Sanjit Shah, Dr Pramod Shah, Dr Armendra Yadav and 10 health workers from the battalion examined the people coming to the health camp.

The health camp was organised with the objective of providing relief to the poor and backward residents of the rural municipality, said colonel Gupta Bahadur Kunwar. More such camps will be organised in the future, targeting the rural population.
