One dies after being hit by a truck

Chitwan–A man has died in a road accident that took place at Dasdhunga of Bharatpur metropolis-29 this morning. The deceased is a man of around 45 years old and his identity is not yet known, District Police Office, Chitwan said.

The man was hit by a truck (Na. 6 Kha. 1896) heading towards Hetauda from Muglin, Deputy Superintendent of Police Yek Narayan Koirala said. Seriously injured, the man died during treatment.

The accident took place at 5:54 am. The truck has been impounded while its driver has been taken into custody for necessary action.
