Jajarkot–In keeping with environmental protection at the centre, Kushe rural municipality has imposed ban on the use of dozer and excavator in the small project below Rs 10 million.
The rural municipality has come up with the decision when the excessive use of machines in small projects resulted in environmental degradation and unemployment of youths.
Hari Chandra Basnet, chair of the Kushe rural municipality, informed that the municipal executive took the decision to prevent use of dozer in construction project below Rs 10 million since this fiscal year.
However, the rural municipality has kept the dozer use open being based on the recommendation of the technicians.
The rural municipality has opened track of 142-km road under 12 road projects during past two years.
