Kathmandu– Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party (NC PP) has extended sorrow over the demise of NC's former whip and leader Ramesh Lekhak's father Prayag Dutta Lekhak.
In a condolence message released by NC PP's Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khand today, NC has offered tributes to Lekhak and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Prayag Dutta died on August 23 at the age of 87.
Extending the condolences to the bereaved family, NC has maintained that his demise had caused an irreparable loss to the party. Late Lekhak had played an active role in the democratic movements launched by NC.
