Adverse nature forces schools to be closed for three days

Hetauda– Some schools inside the Hetauda sub metropolis and all schools in Bhimphedi rural municipality of Makwanpur district have been closed for the next three days beginning from today amidst adverse natural conditions.

Bhimphedi rural municipality Chairman Hidam Lama confirmed the closure of all schools in the locality until July 16 owing to monsoon landslide and flooding. Some schools at the Hetauda sub metropolis have also remained closed for the same reason.

"There is no favourable situation for teachers and students of disaster-affected areas to travel from home to schools and bearing this in mind, we decided to take a sudden break for some few days", he said.
