Lahan–Police have arrested a person with brown sugar from Golbazaar of Siraha district. He is Baliram Mahato, 25, of Golbazaar municipality-5.
A team deployed from District Police Office, Siraha, and Area Police Office, Golbazaar, raided house of Mahato and seized six kilograms of brown sugar, while acting on a tip-off.
Similarly, police also seized Rs 22,810 and a mobile set from Mahato, said Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Siraha, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Apilraj Bohara. Further investigation into the case was underway, added Bohara.
