Doti–Six people were injured, one of them critically, in a jeep accident at Adarsha rural municipality in the west of the district this morning. The jeep (Se 1 Cha 917), going towards Sayal rural municipality from Adarsha rural municipality, met with the accident at Gajeda, the District Police Office Doti stated.
The jeep fell some 500 metres from the road. Among the injured, Katak Sital, the jeep's driver, is said to be in critical condition.
Police said the accident might have occurred due to the steep and slippery road condition. Preparation is underway to take the injured to hospital, chief of the Area Police Office Dipayal, Kamalapati Panta, said.
