Nepal Defeats China by 221 Runs in Asian Games Qualifier

Kathmandu. Nepal has achieved a wide victory against China in the Asian Games qualifier cricket. In the match held in Singapore on Sunday, Nepal batted first and scored 313 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Chasing a huge target of 314 runs, China was limited to 92 runs in all out in 19 overs and 2 balls.

Kushal Bhurtel played a century inning of 129 runs for Nepal. He scored this run in 43 balls by hitting 5 fours and 16 sixes.

Similarly, Kushal Malla scored 85 and Rohit Paudel scored 69 runs.

For China, among the batsmen, only Zheng Senjian scored 31, Jianhao Du scored 17, and Tian Shengun scored 12 runs, while no other batsman could score double-digit runs.

In bowling, Nepal's Kushal Malla took 3 wickets, while Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane took two wickets each. Nandan Yadav took one wicket.
