Christmas tree lights worth 90 million rupees imported
Kathmandu, December 25 — In the first five months of the current fiscal year, Christmas tree lights worth 90 million rupees have been imported.
According to the Department of Customs, 814,000 units of Christmas tree lights, valued at 92.6 million rupees, were imported between Shrawan and Mangsir (mid-July to mid-December).
The majority of these imports came from China, with 6.74 million units worth 86.4 million rupees.
Additionally, 239 units worth 32,000 rupees were imported from Qatar, and 122 units worth 11,000 rupees came from Bahrain.
Furthermore, 95 units of Christmas tree lights, worth 16,000 rupees, were imported from seven countries, including Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.
