Couple dies in vehicle collision in Sunsari
Inaruwa,November 24 — A couple has died in a vehicle accident at Balgram Chowk, Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-17, Sunsari, today.
The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Yuvraj Gurung and his 32-year-old wife, Tika Gurung, from Ward No. 3 of Dharmadevi Municipality, Sankhuwasabha, as informed by Assistant Spokesperson and Police Inspector Dinesh Adhikari at the Sunsari District Police Office.
The couple was riding a motorcycle with registration number Ko 36 Pa 5637, which was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Balgram Chowk, leading to their deaths.
Both victims, severely injured, succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the BP Koirala Health Sciences Academy in Dharan. The police are searching for the vehicle that caused the collision.
