Police demands additional five-day detention for former Koshi Minister Adhikari

Kathmandu, November 19 — Former Minister of Koshi Province, Lila Ballav Adhikari, has been presented at the Kathmandu District Court for an extension of his detention period.

His seven-day detention expired and the District Police Range Kathmandu, through the District Government Attorney, presented him at the court to request an extension of his detention.

A police officer from the District Police Range Kathmandu informed that the police have requested an additional five-day detention for further investigation.

He was arrested on charges of human trafficking to Japan, and the police are currently conducting an investigation.
