Nepal defeats Hong Kong by 6 wickets
Oct 19: Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 6 wickets in the triangular T-20 cricket series match today. This is Nepal's second win in the ongoing series.
Hong Kong, who were invited to bat first, scored 94 runs in 19.3 overs before being bowled out at the Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu. On the other hand, Nepal, who went into batting in response, scored 99 runs after losing four wickets in 13.5 overs.
Asif Shaikh contributed 42 runs for Nepal. Captain Rohit Paudel scored 25 unbeaten runs. He hit two sixes and a four off 20 balls. Gulshan Jha also contributed 14 unbeaten runs. He hit two sixes in five balls. Nepal got 6 extra runs.
Earlier, in the first match played on Wednesday, Nepal defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by seven wickets. The triangular series is being played as preparations for the upcoming T-20 World Cup qualifying tournament.
