Rastriya Prajatantra Party demonstrates protest in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sep 13: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) demonstrated a protest in the capital city on Wednesday.

The party protested against cow slaughter and shouted slogans demanding the restoration of the Hindu nation and monarchy. RPP also demanded to abolish federalism and to conduct total investigations into corruption.

Party spokesperson Mohan Shrestha informed that the party held the protest to guarantee good governance, reform the country's declining economy and employment, control the inflation and provide relief to people.

Different religious associations and organisations also participated in the demonstration. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party has started a protest rally from Bhrikutimandap which will end with a meeting after reaching Ratnapark. The protest meeting will be addressed by the party's top leaders including Chairman Rajendra Lingden.
