Prof. Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha elected Deputy Chairman of Medical Education Commission

KATHMANDU, Sep 7: The government has appointed Prof. Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha as the Deputy Chairman of the Medical Education Commission.

The government formed a 3-member committee, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Public Service Commission, to appoint the Deputy Chairman.

Among the three people recommended by the committee, Jha was appointed as the Deputy Chairman on Thursday.

Anjani Kumar Jha is the former Chairman of the Nepal Medical Association. He also has close ties to the Nepal Congress Party.

Dr. Pravin Mishra was recommended as the second candidate and the current Deputy Chairman, Prof. Dr. Shri Krishna Giri, was recommended as the third candidate for the post.
