Lalita Niwas case: Survey Department's former employee arrested

KATHMANDU, July 23: The police have arrested Arun Kumar Shrestha in the case of misappropriating government land inside the "Lalita Niwas camp" in Baluwatar.

Central Investigation Bureau SSP Dinesh Acharya informed Ratopati that the arrestee is a former employee of the Survey Department.

An investigation led by the Bureau revealed Shrestha to have played a role in transferring the government land in someone else's name.

So far, 19 people have been arrested in total and 3 have been released in stay-order in the Lalita Niwas case.
