15 missing from Lalitpur

Lalitpur, September 28 — Due to floods and landslides, 15 people are reported missing from Lalitpur.

Among the missing are 50-year-old Shiva Bahadur Thapa Magar, his 24-year-old wife Harikala Thapa Magar, and their 2.5-year-old daughter Simrika Thapa Magar, who reside in Mahalaxmi Municipality-9, Lubhu.

According to DSP Narahari Adhikari from the Lalitpur District Police, other missing individuals include 50-year-old Leela Thapa from Mahalaxmi Municipality Ward No. 8, 40-year-old Devaraj Karki from Okhaldhunga residing in Nakhipot, and 32-year-old Bikau Shah from Rautahat, also missing in Nakhipot.

Additionally, Ishwar Timalsina, along with his mother and wife Goma Timalsina, from Mahankal Rural Municipality-3, Gotikhel, are also unaccounted for.

Vivek Singh, a 30-year-old employed at Anandaban Hospital in Godawari Municipality-6, is missing as well. DSP Adhikari reported that four people are missing from Chhote Danda in Godawari-7.

In total, 20 people have lost their lives due to the floods and landslides in Lalitpur.
