Prachanda-led Cabinet expansion completed

KATHMANDU, May 23: The expansion of the CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda-led Cabinet has been completed when President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed one Minister and one State Minister on Tuesday upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
According to the President's Office, Birendra Prasad Mahato has been appointed the Forest and Environment Minister, and Pramila Kumari has been appointed the Education, Science and Technology State Minister.
According to the press release issued by the spokesperson of the President's Office, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, the President has appointed the ministers in accordance with Clause 9 of Article 76 of the Constitution.
