Newly appointed Ministers of Bagmati Province sworn in

MAKAWANPUR, May 21: The six newly-appointed Ministers of Bagmati Province have taken an oath of office and secrecy. The Provincial Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma administered the oath to the six newly-appointed Ministers.

Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel had recommended to the Provincial Chief Sharma for the expansion of the Cabinet in accordance with Clause 9 of Article 168 of the Constitution of Nepal.

Nepali Congress's Ramkrishna Chitrakar has been sworn in as a Minister without department, while Pukar Maharjan has taken the oath as Minister of Tourism, Industry and Cooperatives, Uttam Joshi as Minister of Health and Masina Khadka as Minister of Forest and Environment.

Similarly, CPN Unified Socialist Party's Dr. Rajendraman Shrestha was sworn in as the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development and Laxman Lamsal as the Minister of Labour, Employment and Transport.
