China has not supplied arms to Russia: Biden

OTTAWA, March 25: US President Joe Biden has claimed that China has not supplied arms to Russia after the start of the Ukraine war. He said that for the past three months, he has heard the news that China has supplied arms to Russia, but Beijing has not yet done so.

"I am confident that China has not yet provided weapons to Russia," the US President, who is visiting Canada, said at a press conference.

He also said that he has taken the matters regarding the relationship between China and Russia seriously and that the news published recently has been exaggerated.

President Biden emphasized the strong relationship between the democratic Western countries and said that mutual unity and cooperation are indispensable. He said that the existing US alliance in the Pacific region "Quad" and Australia, India, Japan and the United Kingdom (AUKUS) are important security partners. President Biden said that the visit to Russia by Chinese President Xi Jinping this week is only an attempt to further strengthen the special nature of the relationship between Moscow and Beijing.
