Complete road blockage at 20 locations on major highways (with list)

Kathmandu, October 1 — Many roads still remain blocked due to the heavy rainfall that occurred from September 26 to 28.

According to an update from Nepal Police on Tuesday morning, major highways in 20 locations, including Kathmandu and Lalitpur in the valley, are completely obstructed.

The road sections in Kathmandu, including the Dakshinkali-Sisneri road and Lalitpur’s Lele-Tikabhairav road, are blocked.

In the Koshi region, the Rakebhedetar road, in Bagmati the Kantilokpath road, and various sections of the Bhimphedi-Kulekhani, Sisneri-Dakshinkali, Pasang Lhamu BP Highway, Mid-Hill Highway, and Bhrabise-Tatopani roads are completely obstructed.
