Vehicles can ply the roads at the max speed of only 50 km per hour in Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: Vehicles can onward ply the roads at a maximum speed of only 50 kilometers per hour in the Kathmandu Valley.

According to the Valley Traffic Police Office, the decision has been taken in the bid to minimize accidents and control the traffic.

The vehicles can go up to the maximum speed of 50 km per hour in Chakrapath-Koteshwor road section (Ring Road) while they can only go up to 20 km per hour in other service tracks.

The police have also warned action against those defying the rule and order.
