Press Release on Nepal-India Multilingual Poetry Festival

KATHMANDU, Feb. 23: The Embassy of India in Nepal has issued a press release on the "Nepal-India Multilingual Poetry Festival" organized on the occasion of International Mother Language Day on 21st February 2023.

The program was organized by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Central Department of Hindi, Tribhuvan University, Valmiki Vidyapeeth of Nepal Sanskrit University and Akshar Yatri Pratisthan, India.

The program saw poem recitals from Nepalese and Indian poets in Sanskrit, Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, Doteli, Maithili, Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Punjabi, Urdu and English languages.
