Birgunj–Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with people who were injured in Sunday's rainstorm and undergoing treatment at the Kalaiya hospital. He inquired about the health condition of 49 storm survivors at the hospital and urged the authorities concerned to make every possible arrangement for their treatment.
On the occasion, Dr Sachendra Kumar Yadav apprised the Prime Minister of the health condition of those admitted at the hospital. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa.
Following the visit, the team led by the Prime Minister left for Birgunj to meet with the injured at the Narayan Sub-regional hospital.
