Whereabouts of two disappeared Nepali still unknown

Dhamboji– Whereabouts of two Nepali nationals – Rammilan Lodh of Gulariya municipality-8 and Harka Bahadur Shahi of Jamuni – who went missing from Indian forest for the past eight years are still unknown. 

Rammilan's family members have accused the Indian police of enforcing him disappeared since 2011, Ram Bahadur Kuruwang, Chief District Officer of Bardiya said. "We are seeking information from Indian Police in connection with the disappearance of Lodh", he added. 

In course of collecting fodder and firewood, Rammilan along with other Nepali had reached the dense forest of Samayamata Temple in India. The Indian forest security had opened fire targeting them in the forest area. 
The Indian police took the gun-injured Rammilan for treatment to India and has not provided any information about his status to this date, recounted Parbati, wife of Rammilan. 

Likewise in mid-February 2011, the Indian security personnel had enforced Harka Bahadur Shahi of Jamuni in Badhaiyatal rural municipality disappeared. The security had shot him charging his involvement in timber smuggling. Shahi's family also accused that the Indian security had got him disappeared.

 
Whereabouts of both Lodh and Shahi is still unknown. Relatives of the disappeared have claimed that they could not find the missing duo despite search operation in public and private hospitals based in Baharaich. 

The survivor families have demanded the Indian Forest Office through District Administration Office for making public the status of the disappeared. 

Muktinath Yadav, mayor of Gulariya municipality, called for the state apparatuses of Nepal to search for the whereabouts of the disappeared Nepali nationals. ---
