Taulihawa–A cadre of the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist led by Netra Bikram Chand has sustained injuries in police firing at Turuntapur, Shivaraj municipality-9 of Kapilbastu district this morning.
The cadre, Durga Bahadur Roka was injured after police fired at him while he was fleeing when they prepared to raid his house this morning. Roka, who suffered bullet injury in his leg due to police firing, is being treated at the Zonal Hospital, Butwal, Superintendent of Police, Achyutam Pudasaini, said.
Police confiscated two SMGs, magazine used in the SMGs, 68 bullets, one Chinese pistol and its two magazines and three rounds bullets from Roka's house. Likewise, police seized two remote control devices, electric cables and materials used in making explosives.
