NCP stunned by demise of former lawmaker Pandit

Kathmandu– The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has said that the party was stunned due to untimely death of communist leader and former lawmaker, Ganesh Pandit.

 
The role played by leader Pandit in the communist movement in Nuwakot district during Panchyat regime was memorable and the party has lost a prominent leader, reads a condolence message issued today by NCP general-secretary, Bishnu Poudel. 


The party also paid tribute to the late Pandit as well as extended condolences to the bereaved family members. 
Pandit was elected as the member of the House of Representatives from Nuwakot-2 in the election held in 2048 BS. He passed away on March 5 at the age of 72.
