Pokhara– A Romanian national died while paragliding here today. The Kaski District Police Office, Baidam confirmed the death of 42-year-old Ede Csis Jdr from Romanina in the accident.
She started the paragliding from Sarangkot and fell into the Phewa Lake at around 11:00 am. Though a team based at Barahighat rescued her in a severe condition, she breathed her last in course of treatment at the Metrocity Hospital at 11:30 am.
Inability to keep balance during paragliding is blamed for the accident.
