NC parliamentary party expresses grief over Minister's demise

Kathmandu– The parliamentary party of main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has expressed grief over the demise of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari in a helicopter crash in Taplejung. 


Balkrishna Khand, chief whip of NC parliamentary party, issued a condolence message on Wednesday evening to express profound sorrow over the demise of seven people including Minister Adhikari. 


Minister Adhikari along with Managing-Director of Yeti Airlines Aang Tshiring Sherpa, Deputy Director-General of Civil Aviation Authority Nepal, Birendra Prasad Shrestha, Director Durba Bhochhibhoya, Under-Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Yubaraj Dahal, Captain of helicopter Pravakar KC and security guard of Minister Adhikari, Arjun Kumar Ghimire died in the helicopter crash. 


"The demise of dynamic youth leader has caused an irreparable loss to the entire country. His passing-away has shocked and saddened us", reads the message.

 
The NC parliamentary party has expressed deep condolence to the bereaved families and wished for the eternal peace of the departed soul. ---
