Locals bearing brunt of decrepit state of suspension bridge

Lamjung– The folks of Marsyangdi rural municipality-3, Khudi Bazaar are facing trouble in their mobility with a local suspension bridge turning to a sorry state of affairs. 

Locals complained the decrepit condition of the suspension bridge connecting wards 3 and 9 of Marsyangdi rural municipality has caused hardships in their lives. 

The worsening state of the bridge has also troubled hundreds of tourists moving to and from Annapurna trekking route. Also, the trekking route leading to Manang via northern Lamjung also falls in the same area.

 
Everyday hundreds of locals use the suspension bridge to come to market hub for shopping. 
Though locals had raised voice for the renovation of the suspension bridge for the past five years, it has not been heeded so far. ---
