Karnali Cricket Cup 2083 to be held in Surkhet from Ashar 14-18

Surkhet. The 'Karnali Cricket Cup 2083' is scheduled to be held in the provincial capital Surkhet, Birendranagar from today.

At a press conference organized by the Karnali Province Cricket Association in Surkhet, Birendranagar on Saturday, Association's Province Secretary Shridhar KC informed that the 'Karnali Cricket Cup 2083' will be conducted from Ashar 14-18. He stated that the games will be held at the Kalunchoak ground in Birendranagar, and the competition is being organized with the objective of expanding cricket in every district of Karnali Province, providing opportunities to players, identifying new talent, and developing cricket in the province.

According to Province Secretary KC, Mugu, Kalikot, Jumla, Dailekh, Surkhet, Salyan, Jajarkot, and Rukum Paschim will participate in the competition. The winning team will receive a prize of Rs 101,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs 51,000. The Karnali Province Sports Development Council has provided Rs 2,000,000 in support of the competition.
