Ministry Forms Committee to Investigate Class 12 Results Errors

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Education and Sports has formed an investigation committee to further study the errors in the Class 12 results. A committee has been formed to conduct sampling tests of answer sheets, verify marks and data entry, with representation from the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education and the Deputy Secretary of the Curriculum Development Center.  

Students have protested, stating that the Class 12 results published by the National Examination Board are unnatural and erroneous. They have also said that the fees for re-totaling and re-checking are extremely expensive and impractical. 

104,711 students have been declared 'non-graded' or failed in the Class 12 examination conducted from Baishakh 14 to 27.
