10th SKIBs 3x3 Basketball Tournament Begins Saturday

Kathmandu. The 10th SKIBs 3x3 Basketball Tournament organized by Shree Chandrabindu International Boarding School (SKIBs) in Basundhara, Kathmandu, is set to begin on Saturday. The tournament is being held at the organizer school's own court in Ward No. 5 of Tokha Municipality. A total of 48 teams from 33 schools will participate in the competition. According to information provided by SKIBs Principal Arun Kumar KC at a press conference on Friday, the tournament has been divided into various categories. Under this, 24 teams in Senior Boys and 12 teams each in Junior Boys and Girls will compete for the title. This time, TIA in Senior Boys, Paramount Academy in Junior Boys, and Valley Public School in Girls are entering the competition as defending champions. Competition Coordinator Sagar Sharma informed that the basketball festival, which will run for two days, is estimated to cost around 150,000 rupees to be successfully completed. According to the schedule, matches up to the pre-quarterfinals in Senior Boys will be held on the first day, Saturday. Similarly, matches up to the quarterfinal stage in Junior Boys and Girls will be completed, said SKIBs Basketball Coach Sanjay Prajapati.
